What Price to Pay for new TT

We have young friends with three small children who would like to purchase a travel trailer. They have found a new trailer that they like.. We suggested that they not pay asking price from dealer but could not remember what members on forum had suggested as the percent to pay. It seems like people have said that dealers will come down, in some cases, 25 or 30 percent. Would appreciate advise. These kids are looking at Keystone Bullet 272bhs. (I know-not our brand here-ha)

think you are pretty close with the 25-30% - be prepared to haggle some to get that price and maybe not all in the same day. It also depends how long the rig has been sitting on the lot and if it is a 2016, 2017 or used.

Depending on where you live, end of season sales around here aren't bad. We just bought our ST270BH from wagners rv in green bay a couple of weeks ago. Everything could always be cheaper but I think we made out ok, it was 4000 under a dealer closer to us.

I also happened to hit them on the last day of august, so they played that card to lure me in as well. But the 4000 under the other dealer and just 500 over a 1 year old used model and I bit.

Remember that most of the percentages that you'll here are off of the list price. So if you're taking 30% off, you have to deduct that from the list price and not the asking price for an accurate negotiating point.
