What year is my trailer?

I bought this trailer in September 2019. I was told it was a 2013. That's what the bank and insurance company went with. But looking at the label on the trailer, it was manufactured 5/8/2012. Pictures of a 2012 looks exactly like mine. 2013's don't.

How do I tell for sure what year it is?

It could be 2013. Just like cars. They start manufacturing the next year earlier in the previous year. For example, 2022 vehicles are now being advertised.

Same difference. Ours was manufactured in 2012 but is a 2013 model purchased the Hershey Rv show.

Same thing here, mine is registered as a 2014 Sunset Trail Reserve but was build in Mar 2013. I think I read somewhere here that they give it the year it was first sold in not necessarily when it was made. Sometimes it gets confusing when your looking for parts. You have to check the actual year that it was manufactured and go with that Year/Model to get the right part.

My camper was built in 2012 but like Mark I bought it at Hershey as a 2013 model...I think I would call Crossroads and ask if there is a cut off date in any year that the same camper would be designated as the following year camper. For example every camper made after September of the year is designated as the following years camper...

Thanks for all the answers. I don't really have a problem with it.

We are looking to sell it but when I went to NADA and tried to get a ballpark price, there wasn't a ST29RL listed for 2013. I went looking and the 2013's didn't look like mine but the 2012's did.

It's a little confusing when Google searching.

We used it full time for almost 2 years. First while remodeling the house and then after we moved and waited for the new house. It's only been moved twice in the 2 years we have had it.

How close are the NADA prices to what you can reasonably ask for them?

I've been told by a dealer that there is some combination of letters in the VIN that will identify as to model year. Sorry, don't have a decoder list.

mine says 9/01/11 and its a 2012
