Tony and Joanne, many have vented(us as well) and you are among friends here, many who have had to go through exactly what you are experiencing. We are sympathetic to your plight and will encourage and support you the entire way through to resolution. My husband and I are among the CR Rushmore owners who have found satisfaction working through a reputable service center. Are there any close to you? We really struggled until we found one that would work with us. They stayed on top of the issues until resolution. We are very happy with our Lincoln now.
We so agree- In God We trust! Man is imperfect and fallen. As we see it, the work force that had the knowledge and skills, as well as the work ethic is a lost generation. The generation employed by the factories, seem to have neither. They are not adequately trained and/or paid to make it worth it to do the job needed. And therein lies the issue. Many here have done the repairs themselves rather then trust that work force. Based on our experience working with CR, you may be the one to do the work, but it will take longer for you to get the parts and compensation. We do hope you get the satisfaction you need and can enjoy your beautiful Rushmore very soon!
