Just wondered if anyone has tried one of these out yet. I have one ordered and will be the test case if not. My wife stays up later than I do and she watches the TV in the living area on satellite but I like to lay in the bed and watch the local news and weather so I have it on the off air antenna. I am hoping this helps with some of the border line stations.

I got mine for $28 a few days ago. Installed in a few minutes and I have yet to use it.
I will be anxious to test it.

I should have ours by this weekend. I am going to test it on our local stations which are about 30 miles from the house. I will do a before and after and see if it makes any difference especially on the HD stations.

Got the Wingman today and did the install when I got home. (5 minutes) We have 5 local stations that are all HD, without theWingman I got 3 really good and 2 fade in and out. With the Wingman we now get all 5 in HD perfectly and I am getting 1 station out of San Antonio about 60 miles away. With just this quick test it was well worth the money. I guess time will tell andI will report back after our first trip with it at the end of the month.

Thanks for the update Keith. I knew I had read that the original ant would receive the digital signals (as is), but if the attachment makes that much difference, then it seems money well spent. Guess I'll have to get one coming now!

For the $35 I spent on it I would say so far it is well worth it. I am going to play with it more this weekend by turning the antenna different directions. I just installed it and turned the TV on and let it search for stations yesterday. I am thinking it may get better once I turn it towards different areas. I will report back.

Keith:
Does that thing just attach to the bottom of the existing antenna?

Yes it does. Very simple to install. You just have to make sure you have the room around it so when it is down it does not hit anything.

Cool, thanks for the update...mine should be here next week, along with a park power conversion kit to change the hard-wired cord to a detachable one.

Got mine tonight, installation was a breeze, but did not get a chance to try it yet as it was getting late. Will have more time to play tomorrow night in the camper as I also have to figure out a way to install the park power conversion kit. Will report back on Thursday...

I am interested in hearing on the park power conversion install. I've been wanting to do that for some time and hope to be able to get to it later this summer. As of this month the truck is paid off so it frees up a little cash flow for a fewof the upgrades I've been wanting to do.

Camping world part number 20300. I opened up the slide tonight and looked where the power comes in to decide the best way to install the conversion. If we had the mouse-hole plug, it would have been a simple installation, but due to the fact we have the square box, it will require a bit more work to make it weather tight and rodent proof. I am thinking about running a 2x4 along the bottom and top so that I can run a piece of plywood vertically that is back-set from the square hole. I will use a hole saw to cut out the space needed for the male end of the kit in the plywood. This back-set will still allow me to use the square door with the wire coming out to provide some shelter from the elements and still look stock. In retrospect, I could have just ordered the male and female marinco plugs and saved a bit of money as I was unsure on what was going to work. So, now it is off to menards to buy some lumber.
Oh, and on the wingman, hard to tell as I am in a lowpoint in town, so I don't get many stations, but the ones I do get seem to be a bit crisper.

Where's the best price to get one from? It just got a pretty good review in Motorhome Magazine.
