Wire Question

We just picked up our new 19 Crossroads Sunset Trail 331Bh. When I was disconnecting the battery I noticed the positive leg that goes to the battery also had a white wire with a purple strip. The wire had a ring on it, and guessing it was 12 or 14 gauge single wire. The metal ring connector was covered in black electric tape. When I looked at wire diagrams it tells me it is for a slide, but all 3 of the slides were working on battery power and the wire was not connected. Any idea what the wire is for or what it controls? Thank you

Sometimes the front jack wire is connected like that. Also do you have a hook up for a solar panel? Could be a wire for that.

Welcome to the forum from OH and congrats on your new rig. We have a 331BH ourselves since this September and have enjoyed the three times we have had it out thus far.

It is for the solar prep. It is not hooked up because the TT does not come with solar panels. There should be a solar plug on the front of the TT, that wire should go there.

So it seems solar prep is a high possibility. That would make sense why its not hooked up.

I asked the same question in another thread about the white wire with purple stripe (I have a 2019 262BH) I can conferm it is for soar prep. I wish I had found this thread before making my own.
