OK I am new to the RV world so go easy on me. I brought my brand new cruiser patriot home and set it up for a weekend home camping orientation. No problems. On Labor Day, we struck out for a short haul of 150 miles to set up in a nearby town. After setting it up, I noticed for the first time, a "wobble" when walking across the floor, entering from the outside, coming down the steps etc. I am not a real big guy (155 lbs). It was made a little better by pulling the rig forward to get more weight on the springs (the pad had a low spot where the wheels were) but the problem persists. It is level front to back, but off 1/8 bubble side to side (is that a big deal?). I dont remember feeling the wobble at the dealer or at home. It is causing a little bit of vertigo and I need some advice. I am beginning to think that this pad is warped and I need to move.

Thanks,

Max

Did you put down the rear stabilizers? If you did you might want to make sure they are snug. Also using a chocking system that goes in between the wheels such asroto chocks can ba a help.

Try setting rear jacks with your nose a little low and then raise camper to level.

Get a set of JT StrongArms and install them. No more wobble, wobble, wobble....

Hamops hit it right on the head!!! A set of stabilizers will fix your problem. Then a set of chocks to finish the job.

Off to the store I go (again). It looks like that ought to fix it. I will give it a try.

Thanks for the help I will give these suggestions a try. I am leary of using the stabilizer arms as a jack or putting undue pressure on them. The strongarm jacks don't look technically difficult to install. We'll give them a shot. Thanks everyone.

We agree about adding aftermarket stabilizers. A Bi-Pod was our 1st try and that didn't work at all for us. We added an additional set of arm jacks on the very back of our rig and while it helped some, nothing really worked until we added front and rear stabilizers. We've had them on for the last 6 years and just love them. We use our plug it right brand. Diana

How is that Bichon doing? I have 2 of them and whey are great dogs aren't they? We have a 18 year-old and a 2/1/2 year old. "Frenchie" and 'Marcel". They love the RV, but these dogs are at home anywhere, as you probably know. Thanks for the advice.

if your rig has the equalflex system, the JT's will help but it will still wobble wobble wobble...

when in our bed, I can feel our 3 year old flip over in his sleep. If we didn't have the JT's I would get sea sick.

Good luck.
