My dealer was talking to me about this and claimed people are not buying the new zinger do to the height. He said he is having a hard time selling the zinger and most buyers have gone with a lower height TT. I myself like the new zinger, at 6'9" I can stand in it with extra room.

The height is not a problem for me.my truck with the cap is also tall. I also prefer not feeling closed in.

The Z-1 doesn't look to be lower profile. The Z-1 27' BH is 10' 8" high, the Zinger 26' BH is also 10' 8" high. The Z-1 of a couple grand less so it appears they are just introducing a lower priced unit.

Looks like they rejiggertheirline up a lot. My floorplan is no longer available as aPatriot, only a Sahara. Priced about the same with the same options to bring the Sahara up to the Patriot but I sure like the Gel Coatexteriorof the Patriot better then the Filon of the Sahara.Edited by: hhh

Didn't we read that the Z-1 is the new "sticks and tin" TT? It is an entry level RV. At least I thought that is what I read.

That might be the sticks and tin they talked about during the tour this summer.

Thanks. It doesn't say it's replacing the zinger. Crossroads seems to be offering different platforms and removing some every year. It's hard to keep up with all the changes. Especially because the web site seems to always be two months behind with current events. Hope they add more quad bunk models, we hoping to upgrade within a year or so.

That's where the 285RL went. I was wondering what happened as it was shown as dealer stock only. A little more comparing shows the "new" one has 30A service which means not prewired for a second AC. Wonder what else they left off. I do like my second AC. Think I'll stay where I am for a while anyway...
