2018 Sunset Trail 26ft trailer - no fan

Hello,

We just recently upgraded from a smaller pull behind trailer to a 2018 Sunset Trail bunkhouse trailer (26ft). We have the RV plugged to AC at our house. We wanted to turn on the fan (not A/C) and it does not come on. Could it be a fuse perhaps? If so, which fuse is used for the fan? I see Air Conditioning fuse, but not a specific one for the fan. Anything else to check?

Thanks
Mike

Are you sure you have power at the outlet on your house?

You can also check the breaker panel in your new camper. The breaker for the AC unit should be labeled.

Do you have the thermostat set to fan mode?

Your AC will be 120 volt (shore power) so look at the breakers, fuses will be for 12 volt (battery) items. There is a fuse in some thermostats, some behind the face plate, some on the wires down the wall, that may cause your problem.

Mike, if you have electric to your trailer when plugged in at your house, then I guess I agree with Vikes79 about setting to fan mode.
Let us know what you find out.

By the way, welcome aboard.

Does your thermostat show anything on the display? If not, there is a small fuse in the wall thermostat itself that I have had to change after a reverse battery hookup blew every fuse in the trailer.
