Unfortunately they are not like a car or truck. Yes there is a manual but it is very generic. You may try E Bay for one. Originally there would have been a owners packet containing the manual and manuals for every appliance like the stove/oven, AC, Water heater, toilet, converter/power center and so on. The good thing is most of these manual's are available to download from the manufactures websites. Just need the model number and in some cases the serial number. In the past all these numbers were on a decal/sheet that was attached to the inside of one of the upper cabinet doors in the kitchen.
