Another new Texas Hill Country member

I am about to resume camping after about a 10 year hiatus. We had a 27 foot Salem to, preceeded by a couple of starcraft pop-ups . Signed papers on a lite weight z1 21 footer this week. Initially will see if my 2011 ranger will tow it.

Welcome!!!!! Good times ahead!!!
I started off with my parents with a 1972 StarCraft pop up. I remember my dad saying don't touch the canvas if it's raining. Don't have a picture of that one but will attach my wife's first camper and my first camper which was a 1969 Dodge bus.
Had some good times going to Daytona Beach with that old bus. Lots of memories.

Cruise on down I-37 to the coast. The Winter Texans will start heading out in just a few weeks and there will be some choice slots opening up here in the Rockport/Corpus Christi area.

Picked up the camper Friday and brought it home with our new-to-us 2016 expedition. Did not realize how much I had forgotten about setting up camp.

The older I get the more I have to refocus every spring so I don't screw something up. It's like I forget from winter to spring.

I am just up the road in Kerrville. We have been H.O.G. members for a while, just no local chapter affiliation. Have bought a few bikes from javalena. Last bike from caliente. Our camper is still at one use.
