Hello from Idaho!

My husband and I purchased a 2022 Sunset Trails 299QB. We picked it up on Thursday the 24th. We drove it straight to my husbands work as they have a secure lot we can park it at.
We purchased it specifically for the layout. It has a cargo side door to load our kayaks and bikes. It also has a private (with closing door) bunk room.
We were met with some run around on the pick up day. That is the same day we were to sign all the finance paperwork and do our walk through. We didn’t like that they wanted to install our hitch and sway bars and do the walk through before we even knew what the bank has offered in financing (interest rate). So we asked them to do that part first. It was basically a sit down effort on the finance guy to sell us on a warranty that would add an additional $20000.00 on our purchase price. We declined.
Anyway we have noticed a few slight problems and as well as a tear on the drivers side roof at the rear by the rain down spout. Service department said we damaged it and they won’t repair it unless we pay.
We noticed that 2 of the stickers that were on the trailer had been removed. One is the 3 year warranty one…the outline of the sticker is still on the front corner. The other I don’t know what it was but it was by the door and again the outline is there. Should this be a concern? How do I find out the details of those 2 stickers?
We leave tomorrow for out first outing. Nervous but know we can handle whatever might happen. Right?? 😳

Welcome aboard.
I think you should contact Cross Roads and ask them about the decals. Maybe you have been unfortunate enough to get a shady dealer.

As far as your statement---Nervous but know we can handle whatever might happen. Right?? 😳

You probably can if you keep a cool head and get that roof patched ASAP!

Like,immediately.
Have fun.

Welcome to the crossroads family.

Hope you get everything worked out so you can start enjoying your new camper..

As far as the stickers look at other campers that model and see what they are. Could be they power washed it and they came off.

Not clear on the roof tear. You noticed before you left or after you got to the lot? Either way you need to fix it immediately to avoid any water damage. If it is not very big you could use Eterna Bond tape. It works really well.

The one by the door could be the dry weight sticker. This is what mine looks like.

Late reply, apologies. All is well. Tim fixed the tear. Have had lots of rain and absolutely no leaks. I am set up about 5 hours from home and I have learned a lot this past month about my trailer. Looking forward to warmer weather to play in. Thanks for your reply.
