I'm the proud new owner of a HCT32R. I'll be doing a walk through later this week. It appears to be the same as the ST32RL. I really like the living space and look forward to our first trip out. I'm hoping the forum can help with a few questions I have.
Do you know if the bumper can support a bike rack or storage unit?
The outside storage pass through is not as large as I would like. Any advice on what to store in the camper vs in the under storage?
The under storage doors are small so reaching the middle of the under storage may be a challenge for a bigger boy like myself. Any advice here?
Any way I'll excited and ready to go...!

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your new unit. Hill Country and Longhorn trailers appear to be rebranded CrossRoads Sunset Trail and Zinger trailers exclusively for ExploreUSA in Texas. Interesting and a little confusing.Looks like you are in the right place with your questions. Unfortunately I'm not the one to answer any of your questions as we have a Cruiser, but someone will chime in soon.

For your storage in your basement there is a pull out tray you could buy to help with storage in the middle of the basement. Someone on this forum built one out of wood, but I can't remember what thread that was on now.
I would tell you, if there is something you don't like now, you will really NOT like it once you have to deal with it every time you camp. Whether it is storage, or the floorplan, or anything else on the camper. Take your time and buy the camper that fits ALL your need and wants. Good luck

Congrats and good luck on the new rig. Not familiar with your unit. Most of us use under storage areas for things necessary to camper set up. Hoses, electrical cords, water filters, chairs, grills, tools etc. You could search under Mods and may find that wood pull out tray.
Go Well. Happy Trails

Congratulatiomns on the new camper and welcome to the forum...most back bumpers are reinforced before a bike rack is installed, and we use large plastic tubs to better organize and access hoses, electrical equipment, chocks,etc...good luck! pay close attention during walkthru and make sure EVERYTHING works...

For those not aware, WWWest is right on. The Hill Country is a "Texas Edition" of the Sunset Trail Reserve and the LongHorn is a Texas Edition of the Zinger, both made exclusively for our stores, ExploreUSA.
Aside from the obviousdecor differences, there are a couple minor changes but mechanically and structually they are identical.
The 32RL is a great floorplan in both the bumper pull and 5th wheel. Congrats, hope you enjoy it!

Hello fellow Hill Country owner, ironically we closed on ours the same day as you. There does not seem to be a tab for the Hill Country owners. Anyway I hope you enjoy your trailer, we have.

I wouldn't recommend the slide tray for the small storage area as you lose alot of usable storage . I have a 25rb with the same front storage and its easy to get into.I added a shelf in front (see pic)to store cords etc.Anything in the middle is long enough to grab from the side door.Just have to store neatly.
and for the bumper bike rack , I installed one ,albeit , reinforced . Went on a 9000 mile trip and worked perfectly, but you have to strap bike rack and bikes high up to stop bouncing, which is the problem that happens . . Will get pics of the hitch in a few days.

Thanks for sharing... the shelf idea is a good one. I'm interested to see the pictures to understand what you mean by reinforced bike frame?.
