Hot water for a second then back to cold

Hi there... I have a 2015 maple country, just getting things going and trying to figure it all out... dewinterized the trailer but I must have a valve the wrong way that is bypassing the hot water heater as I only get the hot water for a second and then it's.back to cold,Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

The valve on the back of the water heater that is in the middle of a connection between the hot side, and the cold side (often red and blue) should be CLOSED.
