Does not appear I have the ability to post pics yet so below is a link to a shot just prior to leaving the dealer. Our TV is a 2008 Chrysler Aspen 5.7 L HEMI full factory tow package. It is a full size SUV. I did a lot of research prior to my wife and I choosing the 29ss as I did not want to get something that was too big for our TV to handle. In the pic the TV is sagging a bit in the back as we had not fully attached the WD bars and chains.

I did notice on the way home that I might need to go up 1 or 2 more links on the bar chains. I think I'd like to adjust the brake controller as well as I personally like having the trailer break just a hair bit more before the TV that what it is currently set to. Other than that we had no issues with power etc. coming home.

I have towed trailers before. I have a 20 ft landscape trailer that I transport my JD Compact Utility tractor with. Total weight with that is @4800lbs. Have not towed anything this long / heavy. Took it easy on the way home and all seemed OK. We really like the floor plan of the 29ss , we have 3 boys ages 4 , 9 , and 12 and the bunk section in the bank with its own door was important.

Do you have any issues towing your size TT with that 1500 series ?? You seem to have the same motor as my Aspen (5.7) and so far have only towed it once (coming home)

I did notice that the front end was a bit light for me, not sure my TV and TT were 100% level prior to setting the chains on the bars. I think I'll try going up 1 more link on the chains and see if that makes a difference, however was just curious as to how setup handles things ??

The Hemi in your Aspen is a different generation than what is in the 2009 and up Ram truck. If memory serves me correctly the 2008 Aspen is rated at 335 horsepower. The Ram truck (2010) is rated at 390 horsepower. There were significant changes to the Hemi in 2009.
I'm not sure what the torque rating is for the Aspen (2008). The 2010 Ram Hemi is rated at 407 lb. ft. making it hard to compare the two.

Your rig looks great. Hope you make many memories camping.

I have had no trouble pulling our TT with our 1500. It's tows it extremely well with more then enough passing power. When i order the truck, i opt'd for the 3:92 rear end, and i added rear airbags to keep alot of the weight off the rear endjust b/c we do alot of trailing and i knew we were going to get a bigger TT. It's not to bad on gas when you are towing the trailer or just driving it without the trailer.
