New 2021 Sunset Trail !

We just got a new camper in October. We are retired and bought the camper to be able to safely take my parents out for short trips during Covid. So far only gone for a few nights at a local State Park. We live in Illinois. How far south do we need to go to get to an area that would stay above freezing at night?

Congratulation on the new camper.

That's a tough question to answer. As you probably have seen/heard on the news, pretty much the Eastern part of the US is getting snow or freezing precipitation.
To be safe you would more then likely have to be some place in FL.
But if you are only talking of a few days out every now and then, that's a hard one to give you an answer to.
Maybe some of our Southern members will chime in with some info from there area.

Lots of "snow-birds" winter in south Texas. There are a lot of communities for nothing but that, both condos and RV/Trailer communities. Various ammenities as well from bare bones to health clubs.

Welcome to the forum from NC. I’d guess South Florida to South Texas.
