New Crossroads owner
Hello to everyone from my corner of Virginia!
We are waiting what seems to be the longest 3 months on record before we take home our 2014 Sunset Trail 290RL. Why so long... well... long story... but glad to say that when we do go pick her up she will be completely paid for IN FULL!
We had drove down to a dealer to look at another camper. What looked GREAT on paper in person wasn't even what we wanted. Hubby was walking the lot just looking things over and found the 290. I'll admit when I saw the size I thought .......... yeah nice dream. HE will never go for one that size........ WRONG! Within 5 minutes he said "I can see myself living in this.".... that was early November 2013.
We continued the search... never did find another that came close to what we saw in the ST 290. Absolutely love the layout! LOVE IT!
Can't wait to pick it up. Will do short trip here at home.... then pack for the super trip of a lifetime. From Virginia to the coast of Oregon!!! BUCKET LIST!!!!
So.... if you see some lady out and about that is also traveling with 3 spoiled rotten Mini Schnauzers... say a HELLO! It's more than likely ME!

Congrats on the new camper and welcome to our forum. Make sure you guys do a very good PDI with your dealer. There was a good PDI checklist I just saw on here. I'll try to find it and put a link on here. You might want to email or mail a copy of it to your dealer before heading over to do the PDI and then take your copy along with you. Make sure every little thing is fixed before signing anything.

I am just super happy to be upgrading!!! We have a hybrid now that we have had for 4 years. Don't get me wrong, I love it. I really do. But I need that ease of set up/ break down that I don't have now to go on this cross country trip.

Welcome to the forum. I believe that you may have bought your trailer from the same dealer I bought mine. They had a ST290RL when I started looking in November, but now it shows as sold on their web site.
