Brought home our new baby last week. Rushmore Jefferson, 2013. My wife & I full time. Quite the upgrade from our other 30' 5th wheel. We are absolutely in love with the quality of this 5th wheel. Only needing to upgrade the stereo receiver soon. I enjoy my music. Have been full timing for 5 years now. So if your ever near Richland,Wa. Stop by Horn Rapids RV resort.

Welcome and congrats on the new purchase; those new Rushmore's are sure generating a lot of interest lately. I would consider one if my TV could handle it but alas it cannot so I'll have to wait. Hopefully next year we will be out in the great northwest again, have some good friends who fulltime that live in OR so we'll be near you, and we're thinking of heading to AK if we can get enough people to caravan with. The DW says no way she'd go there with just me...so much for trust eh

Enjoy and keep us posted

Jim

This will be our first trip...right now it's looking like 2014...too much going on with grandkids next spring...but we are looking at perhaps heading that way from either Texas or AZ, depending on where we winter next year. That is still up in the air at this point. Trying to look into memberships without getting burned...of course you want them to have campgrounds near where you want to travel and the sites you want to see. For example Thousand Trails are basically all along the outer perimeter of the US...so won't do you much good near Yellowstone, Glacier NP etc. So, lots of thought to put into this.

But, yes, we are looking at perhaps 2014 if we can make it work...but we want to do it in a caravan, even if that is only a caravan of 2 or 3. I've seen others have done this and it looks like the way to go.

Jim
