Just bought a 2014 sunset trail reserve 30re. Suppose to pick it up Wednesday to do a walk thru with dealer, is there anything special I need to look at? Does this model have a remote for the jacks & awning? I read they quit using them in 2012. So far I noticed it was missing the outside grill gas line and the sewer hose. Thanks, mike

First of all welcome and best of luck with your new RV. In our Documents section is a PDI (pre delivery inspection) that will give you a great idea what to look for when you pic up your rv. Take your time, ask questions and be thorough.

We have a 2013 30RE. It did come with the remote but I don't use it ....... the battery in it died and they cost $12 each. I believe they stopped providing the remote in 2014 because of possible problems with slide or stabilizers operating while driving down the road.
As far as things to check; awning operation/lights, smooth slide operation, stabilizer motors, and possible signs of water entry.
Good luck.

Speaking of water, there was a spot at the wood that runs horizontally across floor and meets the vertical wood on one of the cabinet doors that was sorta swollen but other than that all looked good.

Congrats on your new purchase - happy camping.

If there are some "significant items" - delay delivery until they are taken care of. Once it is off the lot you'll be at the mercy of the service department work back log.

Take a look at this:

Not Good!
Get it in Writing on Dealer letterhead or sales contract that there is "water damage" & that Dealer will cover & do ALL future repairs needed to correct!

Doing research on camper wandering if it's a 2014, that's what he said it was the sticker said may or June 2013. Looking at crossroads pics looks like a 2013.

Picked up camper Wednesday, everything went well. It is a 2014, the only thing I could find wrong with it, missing 1 cabinet knob and 1 door under table seat was crooked. Lol
