I purchased my RV on March 11, 2017. I received it March 22, 2017. The floor was "soft" so they deducted 1500 from the price for me to "support" on my own. Within 24hours of delivery we pulled back the linoleum and the floor was rotted, not soft, and soaking wet. They finally came and got it on April 4th. They still have it. They blamed the Leaking on an "improperly installed" slide-out awning. I think it was an improperly installed slide-out (imho). The put a wider awning on the slide (bigger band-aid). General RV Center Wixom still has it today...... Owner will not return my calls... One way or another I will be camping on May 11th on the Ausable River. Good thing I kept my Mallard. Stuck paying $35000 and have nothing to show for it.

So I assume you purchased from a private owner? That's not good. So sorry for your troubles.

General RV Center Wixom

I would understand if it were a private seller. I made the mistake of trusting the dealership to tell me the truth. They should be done painting the floor this week. That's how they hide water damage. I just want to get it home and take the bottom plate off and see how much damage is on the bottom sheet of flooring.

Well if the dealer had the used unit and made you aware of the soft floor and deducted 1500 from the price for that it would seem that they were truthful. I'm sorry this is more damage than you thought but can it be repaired for 1500?

Had they been truthful, they would have disclosed "water damaged" not "weak needing support". cannot fix the floor without removing the slide out. way beyond my pay grade, $1500 does not begin to cover the loss in value.

Well again so sorry for the troubles. Not what you want to deal with especially when paying that kind of money. Keep us informed.

Thank you , The only user manual in the Rig was for the Generator. I found great links for lots of equipment in the forum documents. I will get lots of pics when we take the bottom off. Still don't know how to change the recessed lights We will manage.
