New Member - 2018 262BH - From NJ
Hello All!
We just purchased out 2018 ST 262BH at the end of last year and so far we have been absolutely happy with our purchase.
We spent the winter making some modifications (including minor repairs) and putting on some personal touches as well. Finally after a long North East winter we've managed to make it out a few times this year and it's just been a pleasure.
Looks forward to chatting with all of you!

I have a deposit on a 2019 262BH going to look at it this Saturday.
Priest maybe you can answer this, can you get to the bathroom with the slide all the way in? Looking at pictures makes me think maybe if the dinette table is out of the way? My former trailers bathroom was accessible all the time for those emergency pull overs.

So with the slide out in and table in the normal standing position you can't get past it. If you remove it then yes you can hop over the seats to get to the back without too much difficulty However, the table is connected to the wall on a bracket, so it only raises into full height and drops down to convert to a bunk.
If we have ever needed to get to get back we just opened the slide about a foot and slip on past. I wouldn't exactly feel safe doing it on the highway but at a rest area we've usually had enough room to do it.
If you want to see what the area look like closed I can take a picture or two for you.

Thanks for the replay, does the bathroom door open with the slide in?
I figure with the table down you could carefully step on/over it since it's made for sleeping on.

I'm 99% sure that it does, but let me check when I get home later.. now you have me questioning myself LOL. The slideout doesnt come in that far really.
And yes of you have the table dropped you can sorta hop it to get past the island. My 8yr old daughter does that from time to time.

By the way I contacted Crossroads to ask if the roof is walkable, they said it was but to stay on the rafters 16 on center. I asked them for construction detail because it's not in the brochure and I can't find it anywhere; maybe you already know all this.

So I took a look at my Camper, yes the bathroom door swings open and closed with the slide out in. There isn't really any hatch or bunk that you can't access with the Slide out in.
I took a few pictures for you of what the inside looks like all closed up.
As for the Roof, I never heard about staying specifically on the rafters. I'm 6'2" 200lbs and I've been on the Roof several times for cleaning or installing vent covers and It felt pretty steady to me, I wouldn't invite 10 of my buddies up there for a cookout but you can definitely stand on there with no issues.
Just be mindful of the edges, our Roof's are curved a bit, definitely helps with water run off and maybe it's a mental thing for me but I feel like I might slip off the edge LOL

Not a problem, My Pleasure.
So far we have been out 3 times this year since purchasing it last year and I'm already loving it. it's setup pretty well, Not a lot of negatives to write home about.
Please let me know if you need anymore info or want to see anything else on it.
I think if you do pull the trigger on it you will really enjoy it.
