In a few hours I will likely be pulling the trigger on a 2014 Rushmore Lincoln RF39LN. Apparently, CrossRoads changed the floorplan in the middle of the model year(?), and I will have the "old" version. That's okay, I like the bigger shower. This is a huge step up from the 2008 Keystone Cougar 29' that I am currently living in. Yes, living in.
My job has me too far away from home to commute, so I live in the camper through the week and either go home on the weekend, or my wife drives here. The Lincoln will allow my family to actually come see me as well, with the extra room. I confess that I found this site by following a search thread of quality control complaints. I was under the impression that CrossRoads made one of the best fifth wheel units in the market, and perhaps they do. So I will spend the next few hours reading every thread I can find about this model. Really hoping that I don't find a deal-breaker!
Yes, but I don't see that as a problem. With the model changes, they are half-discontinued each time with those! The best I can tell, we are getting a pretty good deal on this unit, and after reading a ton of posts on here, I have a "shopping list" of specific things to check during the walk-through and inspection. I've already learned some good stuff!

Welcome Ol Bear... We love our 13' Rushmore Jefferson. We are living in it full. Going on 3 years. Have had many issues with it. But nothing myself or mobile RV guy couldn't handle. If you want to chat. PM me.
