Go to a truck scale operation and have them weigh tow vehicle with normal load (passengers included) and trailer unhitched, then weigh trailer loaded as normally towed - unhitched, and finally weigh tow vehicle with trailer loaded but trailer not on scale. You will then know where Tow and towed vehicles are really at.
