New Sunset Trail 210FK

Hi All,
Just purchased a 2018 210FK. Anyone else have one? One Question I have Is that multiple sites have the tongue weight as 904 Lbs. The Manufacturers brochure shows 616 Lbs. Whos right?

Both are accurate, one is dry other is at GVWR. 11% to 13% of actual weight is usually the norm. DRY weight 4700#x .13=611# tongue weight. Don't let that fool you. Add propane, water, supplies and any other "loaded" items and as you approach the GVWR for this trailer 7600#x .13=988# tongue weight. Go to a truck scale operation and have them weigh tow vehicle with normal load (passengers included) and trailer unhitched, then weigh trailer loaded as normally towed - unhitched, and finally weigh tow vehicle with trailer loaded but trailer not on scale. You will then know where Tow and towed vehicles are really at.

Thank you for the reply. That explains it. I was wondering because I need to get a weight dist. hitch and I want an accurate figure. I want to go with the Husky Centerline Hitch and I can go with the 600LB or 800LB or 800-1200 LB tongue weight. Probably loaded even partially the 800- 1200 one should be a good bet.

I agree that the 800-1200 is probably the correct choice.
