New Sunset Trail Reserve 32RL Owner

Hello everyone - just purchased the new camper yesterday and brought it home. Can't wait for the camping season to begin!

I do have a question however. It's a 50amp camper - we plugged it in at home with the 30amp converter and then to the 15amp converter to plug into the garage wall. We turned on the referigerator to Auto (the light came on) last night and checked it this morning and it wasn't cold at all. Is there something else we need to do??

Thank you!

It takes a while to cool down and does not work like a residential fridge. Feel the cooling plates and see if they are cold. If yes, then it is working. I usually start my fridge about 3 days before a trip so it will be adaquatly cold.

If the green on light is lit and it's not cold, try the propane setting. If it cools on propane then the heater unit for electric is out.

All great info..yes the fridge takes awhile to cool down. I found the gas setting works a bit faster.

Oh, I forgot...welcome to the family..

And happy camping.

PS. The fridge actually seems to cool down faster when I load it up with cold foods the night before. The freezer you need to wait.

Welcome. We love our sf32rl. Great luck with it so far. No major issues with ours during the 1st camping season last year. Hope season 2 is just as good.
