New to forum. Have a new 2013 Z1 291RL. Been out a few times with it. My wife and I love it.
It's currently at the dealer for some warranty work. They are extremely slow. They have had it since Oct 13.Planning a two week trip in Nov so hope to get it back soon.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your new TT. This is what the new 12 point promise is supposed to prevent. Doesn't seem to be working does it? I hope you get it back soon. Mine usually sits at the dealership for at least a month for even simple repairs.

Keep after them, become a pain in their rear and they will suddenly get it done.Edited by: anaro

Thanks, called again today. They ordered the wrong part and are waiting for the right part. Very frustrating. It was only a cosmetic fix that I really didn't care about. Some siding was dented outwards. They saw it while fixing some interior things and ordered the parts. I had the trailer back and had been using it when they called and said we got your parts in. I didn't even know they had ordered anything. Anyway I guess they were trying to take care of me. Planning on a 2 week trip to Tyndall AFB, FL in Nov. Hope it's done by then or I'm not taking that trip. Anyway thanks for the concern.

If they are still waiting for the part, could you take it and bring it back again? We have done that before.

I'd tell them to call me after the service manager verifies the correct part is in-stock with an open appointment....

I will try to get it before my trip if possible. They are waiting for outside trim. Not sure if that has to be there to prevent the outer paneling from falling off or to keep it waterproof. I'll call again next week and find out. BTW the service mgr was the one that told me the parts were in. They never call to update you. Wouldn't have known about the reorder if I hadn't called. To much negative. On the positive I have a trailer I like and just got anew truck for towing it. Haven't towed yet with the new ruck and can't wait.

Towed 1200 miles from Kentucky to Florida and back. Had a good trip. No problems at all. Got home and winterized. Washed the trailer clean today and noticed the right side tail lamp was cracked. Probably was that way when I bought it. Will call dealer and see if they can send a new one under warranty. If not will probably seal the old one and make it watertight. Cracks are on top and no missing plastic. Anyhow the trip was nice. Wife and dogs had a good time. Next trip planned for April.

Welcome and enjoy you RV.

Same problem here - dealer is very slow with warranty work. Guess they feel they have the corner on the market.

Hope you get it back quick. Mine was only a cosmetic fix. Didn't really need it but dealer wanted to do it. It was Camping World in Greenwood, IN. Finally got mine done and when I picked it up I realized just how busy they were. Very large facility and very very busy. No wonder it takes so long. They were very friendly and helpful but just extremely busy.
