New Travel Trailer and New to Forum

Hello All:

After several months, my family finally settled on our entry level travel trailer.

Just wanted to say thanks for the very open and helpful forums you all participate in.

As we are new to the travel trailer world, any advice specific to a 2006 CR Zinger QBS is greatly appreciated.

The bad part about buying a travel trailer in Iowa in November is I get to wait quite a few months before we can get out camping. The good part is that I have quite a few months to pick up tips and tricks.

Thanks all.

Welcome to a great forum: a good place for help, advice and friendship. Best of luck with your new RV. Make sure you put it thru it's paces and try EVERYTHING out before the warranty runs out.

Good luck and congrats on the new camper. Also welcome to the forum. You will find it to be very helpful especially in the first year with the new camper. My first and best advice I can give you is: if you don't have a vedio camera, GET ONE, so those little people in the canoe with you can watch and remember going camping with grandmom & grandpop, years form now.

Welcome aboard Edwards family. Best of luck with your new unit. I know you have to wait a while but it will be well worth it in the end. Given the long winter ahead, you can always go back on any of these threads and learn a plethora of good info. Best of luck.

Travel well,
Jim

Hello and welcome! There's no such thing as a entry level trailer in my opinion, it's the starter trailer that may lead to a bad habit of buying a bigger truck then bigger trailer then another bigger truck then another trailer!!! The younger you are the worse the habit becomes, I suffer from it badly! Heck I put 4 TVs in mine this past weekend and now I'm ready for a TT to get 6 in.. I love my TT but love adding gadgets...

Wonder if there is a self help group for that? Oh, wait, it goes by RALLY where we either get the buy bug or make awesome friends who will gladly help with the addiction!

Welcome !!...Your gonna have a great time and as said.....Watch out !! The bug will hit.
We started out just wanting a truck for the property, A travel trailer came with it and the truck is a nice diesel. Next thing you know the trailer is too small and now we have a fifth wheel......watch out for the bigger truck.
