Congratulations on the new unit and ask away. Questions are one of the things that make this a great forum. And be sure to register for the Texas Rally being held April 20-22, 2012 at Buckhorn Lake Resort in Kerrville.

I know how you feel. We are not new to camping and RV'n but this will be our first Cruiser. I am so excited; we pick ours up on September 10th. I wish we could pick it up sooner but we already had Labor day weekend plans. This forum has been awesome if you have a question these guys will have an answer or a contact for you to call. Cruiser RVers do really seem to be a family.

Congrats! Welcome to the forum and to camping! We are newbies too and have learned so much since we bought our zinger in January. A few things to remember: bring a video camera to the PDI so you can reference things later. During the PDI have you operate everything, don't let them just tell you or show you, make sure you understand and are able to operate it. If necessary make them slow down for you. Don't turn over the remainder of your money until after your PDI is over and has been done to your satisfaction not theirs. If they are installing any kind of hitching gear for you, then practicing hitching up and unhitching with them and video this as well. It will be more difficult later on your own. Make sure everything works before you leave the lot. A night or 2 camping near home or near a walmart is a great idea so you can get whatever you find you need. Remember to keep a sense of humor and laugh at your mistakes because you will make them. Also, I have found most of my neighbors to be very helpful with any questions or problems when camping. Just remember to thank them with an offer of food or drink (most prefer a beer or something of the like!) Good luck and enjoy your new Cruiser!

We brought our new baby home yesterday. It is now official we have a Cruiser we took it by the scales and weighed before I loaded her up and our gross weight is 17000. I think my husband wanted to do this so he can keep me from over packing it . Our Pilgrim was much smaller and we were very limited but now I have more storage space yippy. I can't wait to take her on a trip but it looks like the F250 will need a new transmission . We have a small leak at the seal and it requires a whole new transmission, understandable we have over 300,000 miles on that one. For now I will be getting it ready for its maiden voyage.

We are new to the CrossRoads Family. We have traded in our 2005 Prowler for a Sunset Trails Reserve 29RL. We can not wait for our delivery!
