NTU Zinger

Hi all,
We upgraded from a popup to our NTU Zinger this fall. It's 18', so not too big. We haven't camped in it yet, and are looking forward to it this spring. We live in the Hudson Valley of New York.

Thank you for the warm messages! We’re excited. We’ve backpacked, still tent camp too, and had a pop up or two along the way. This gives us more flexibility and options with the heat and AC.

We do live in an amazing part of the country and don’t have to go too far to be in amazing places.

We love the DEC campgrounds to tent camp and took our pop up to a couple. We camp at Indian Lake every year with scouts (no camper for that since we paddle in!).

We just booked our annual site down near Roscoe where we park our camper for a month May/June and go weekends for good flyfishing. That will be our maiden voyage with it, but the CG we go to is a small place on the river with hookups. It will be a good place to go to make sure everything works. We’ve gone there for years with our tents and pop up and everyone is so helpful and friendly!

I think I know the CG on the river. Down a steep grade off the road, sure looks nice. That area as you know is famous for fly fishing.
In that area we routinely go to Mongaup pond CG we’ve booked two weeks in 2021. Week each June and Sept

I have Z-1 as well and love it. It has everything we need and yes an easy tow and maneuver.

We camp on old route 17 at Butternut Grove. Yes, it's an amazing fly fishing area, which is why we park it and camp for the month. My husband can come and go. It's less than 2 hours from home, so he has a base camp. Some of the best fly fishing in the east, and we love being right on the Beaverkill and having access to the Willow and East Branch. My boys fly fish too (they're 18 and 16). We're really looking forward to it. We were able to camp there last year, but we were so early into the pandemic that it was super weird! Not as social as other years for obvious reasons. I'm hoping we'll be able to be more social with the other campers like in other years we've gone!

We haven't done Mongaup pond, but I've heard good things about it. We did Beaverkill campground many years ago, and it was great, although further from town.
