Thank you all! Well we had a difficult time getting it home. Seems the place we got it from didn't really want to help us much in the way of hooking it up! So without tools to turn the hitch over to raise it up we sat uneven towing...it was a slow and steady ride home
They didn't even have it cleaned...metal shavings wood pieces in the curtains. This was the very first dealer I recieved a dirty unit... I was not a happy camper. So now that it is cleaned and loaded up we are going to take it for a weekend trip. We have a few lil things that need to be addressed...but it really is a nice camper.

Glad you got home safe, but sounds like a phone call to the owner or at least a letter is in order...

Happy camping with your new unit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We have ST 27 RB and really like it. It has been a very good unit so far. I can't believe we'll have it 4 years in Jan.

Hope you still have time to enjoy camping in it this year: We have just returned from a trip to Wright Patterson Air Force Base: we had to Winterize the camper until March 2012 and look forward to camping in the Spring.

Thank you everyone... We are taking it out for our first trip this coming weekend
We can not wait. I already had a boo~boo in it, so now that's out of the way I think it will all be good. I tried hanging my live~laugh~love sign in the middle of the entertainment center...popped out the lil ole piece of wood. Needless to say I splintered it! So I had my first boo~boo
My better half said I am glad it was you and not me . I covered it withpadding &leather put the sign up with buttons on the side...It really looks nice.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new STR. Being that you are in MD check out the Mason Dixon group also. They meet up twice a year, once in VA and once in PA. Oh and it is nice seeing a fellow Marylander on here, I lived in Harford County for a large chunk of my life!

I would send a letter to Crossroads about this dealer, I wouldn't buy from him again, if your unit was dirty, and not setting your unit up properly on your truck before you left the lot? Happy camping

It's the dealer that failed him.

I don't blame the kitchen for putting lettuce and tomato on my burger when I specifically request it to be left in the kitchen. I blame the waitress / waiter as they are the final link.

The dealer is at fault, these things travel over all kinds of rough roads wood partical shake out of every where and go every where. Our unit was clean when we bought it but even today I some times have to remove light covers and get rid of the dust after four years and 35000 miles. I think you need to stay out of the RV end I do not think you will be happy with any unit

We got our bugs out...did our first run with it. It goes back to the dealer for a list of things not hooked up (cable)...leaks in slide and host of other things. We really enjoyed it other than the things that need attention.
