Retiredrvers

Hello from Tennessee. We are new rv’ers and are here to learn all we can about this new chapter in our lives. RVing!
We’ll have a lot of questions. Some legit and some silly I’m sure, but bear with us. We’ve purchased a used Sunset Trail 288 bh. We decided on the bunks for the grandkids when they are with us. Most of the time they will not be. So it will be a storage area of sorts. Our tow vehicle is a 2014 Toyota Tundra 5.7. I have a Curt distribution hitch and Tekonsha brake controller so far. Have a long list of other things to get. Next week will be busy. Looking forward to finding out things I should do now. Problems with this model. Etc etc etc.
Thanks in advance for your advice, input, and RV wisdom!👍

Hi Superduperjeeper,

I too have a Toyota Tundra, and absolutely love it. It pulls my 'Zinger' 291RL effortlessly with a WD hitch and tecumsa brake controller.

Enjoy your new adventurers.

Hey Biggles. Actually just brought ours home today from the Tennessee plateau. Had the brake controller set okay, need to fine tune my hitch. Little bit light on front for me.
Have a good one. Appreciate ya!
