We are returning members of the forum and Mason Dixon Bunch under some new info and a recently renovated Cruiser.
My wife Deborah and I took some time off to adjust to our new "empty nester" status and to completely renovate the interior of our camper to become full time rvers. The reno took us 7 months and the completion of our reinvention of ourselves is ongoing.
Our last daughter Glenne will be attending the University of Utah this fall and this gave us the perfect opportunity to re-evaluate our situation and make some changes. Deb's work allows her to continue her career(as long as there is good wi-fi!) and my skills are transportable as well.
I have researched work camper opps and hope to pursue that line of work starting with our voyage to Utah next month.
Until then, we are using up space in a couple of family driveways here in NY at the moment and finishing off our plans for the coming fall and winter.
It is great to be back in the forum as we always could count on good advice and lively feedback.
I see the bunch will be at Americamps this fall. We camped there through the Fourth of July as we moved out of our house and visited with our son in Richmond. It is a very pleasant place.
We hope to reconnect with our friends here and to participate as best we can.
Happy Rving!
