After 15 plus years of tent and pop up camping, we decided it was time for something new. The kids said they didn't care what we got - as long as we didn't have to build it. We looked for what seemed like months, and then we found the Z 1 301BH. We walked in and new it was for us! We pick it up in 3 weeks and leave two days later for 2 weeks in Colorado and we can't wait!! We are so excited and just a little overwhelmed at the moment. So much more involved - but we will get the hang of it.

We jumped from a pop up to a 25 foot Sunset trail and love it, we are just careful and plan our drive and campsites with the trailer in mind. So very comfortable. You will love it.

Welcome to the forum and good luck with your new Zinger. This is a good place for advice ( and you'll get a lot of it.)

Congrats on the new Z1. One word of caution if you are awaiting shipment on your trailer be aware these dates are often delayed and could affect your CO trip. Also I would advise trying it out to make sure it is working properly before embarking on such a long trip. Last thing you want to do is accept a tt that needs repairs just so you can go on a long trip. There are others that tried that and then had warranty headaches. I hope for you it comes in on time and in perfect condition but please understand that is a rare event especially lately. That said welcome aboard and may your new z1 bring you lots of wonderful camping memories.

I have to echo what anaro stated, so make sure you do a thorough PDI before you accept delivery.

One thing I noticed in my recent experience was that since I pushed the delivery date up because of family issues the dealer didn't have a chance ( and this is in my humble opinion) to make sure they were able to pull back as much revenue from the manufacturer as they could by "finding" things wrong they can "fix" to bill back the manufacturer. I wonder if this is asecret well hidden practice going on that causes so many delays when trying to take delivery. I can't imagine that these RV's come off the assembly line in such a state that almost everyone I have read about out here needs something fixed.... I feel that when you push the dealer you are cutting into their profit margin and this ticks them off and that's when you get pushed to the back of the line. This is all of course in my humble opinion.....I have no actual proof but an apple is an apple.
