Waiting to take home our new Sunset Trail

My husband and I signed the papers on our new Sunset Trail 270BH a few weeks ago and we're very much looking forward to taking it home in a few months. We've had a Fleetwood Avalon pop-up for several years, but never anything this big. We already have a trip to Myrtle Beach scheduled for April, but we've never taken a camper that far. Any tips regarding towing on long trips would be appreciated!

Welcome to the forum and good luck with your new Rv. We travel from PA to Myrtle Beach every year. We usually take 2 days and stop in Selma N.C., RVaction Park for 1 night. It's right off I 95 and all sites are pull thru. We leave by 8 the next day and roll into Lakewood campground in Myrtle Beach around 2. We take our time running around 60-65 mph and stop every two hours for a short break. Lakewood is our favorite vacation destination to RV. Hope you have as much fun there as we do.

My wife and I are considering a Myrtle Beach trip as well and are awaiting the spring thaw to pickup our new trailer. Enjoy!

Thanks for your responses

Thanks to everyone for your responses and helpful tips. I'm feeling a little less nervous about the trip.
