We ended up staying there at Carefree RV. It was VERY nice! Lots of events going on there with bands, pot lucks, bingo, etc...One of the full timers stopped by one morning and invited us to the pavilion for there morning coffee ritual! Just a group of them all sitting around and shoot the bull. Very friendly people all around. The site we had (don't remember the number) was perfect. Nice concrete slab for the patio, good shade trees but not so many that the sun couldn't get in and the grass was all cut and manicured. Sites were pull through and there was plenty of room to maneuver.
Location is great as well. There's a Publix market in a little strip plaza just about 1 mile from the campground. The plaza has a pizza place and a liquor store (ABC) there as well. Also, there is a huge farmers market, open air type about 15 minutes from the campground. They have EVERYTHING. It's not just produce but car parts, pots and pans, clothing, etc...The produce section was slam packed with every type of garden grown food you can think of. Strawberry's about half the size of my hand!!
Over all, this is a fantastic place to stay. Can't say enough about it.
