We will be travelling to Bayfield, WI in late summer. I've been looking for a campground where we can with electrical at a minimum and can make reservations. What i've found sofar are campgrounds with very few ammenities and can't make reservations.

Looking for any recommendations you can give.

We stayed at Copper Falls State Park when we were up that way a few years ago. It only has electric sites but does have water fill-up at the entrance. The sites are quite large and the surrounding area is beautiful. Since it is a state park, the rates are very reasonable.

If you don't mind driving a bit... Camp Holiday in Boulder Junction has full hook ups. The place is clean, no pool but they do have a small beach or you drive to Highland State Forest and there is a nice beach. Plus an awesome bike trail.

My family has a summer home in Presque Isle so we used to do day trips from PI to Bayfield / Madeline Island. The house doesn't have a/c so summer nights can be a bit sticky in JUly and Aug. So I have found staying in the 5er a bit more comfortable at night with the a/c and cable tv at Camp Holiday.
