I never stayed at Cherrystone, but it looked like a really nice place when I visited. Friends have stayed there and said it was great.

I would never go to Bethpage again! Small sites and a stampede of golf carts!

We visit both campgrounds often and one year we got snowed upon for Easter at Bethpage. Each campground offers it's own fun and nice things. Cherrystone is the only camping "on the water" with some awesome sunsets. Bethpage is a nice campground but do not recommend during festivals as they double park trailers on the lots. You are not placed on the water view sites at Bethpage as the perm folks have all of them.

Good luck on your decision and as I said both parks offer some nice things and views.

Not a ton of stuff to do at either one of those campgrounds until it gets warm. I would stay in Williamsburg as you have many things to do and see that doesn't need warm weather to enjoy. Or you could do like I am and head to Myrtle Beach for Easter.
