Going to New Braunfels in July, anybody have any recommendations on RV campgrounds in the area?

We have previously stayed at Hill Country RV Resort and Camp Huaco Springs and enjoyed our stay in both places. Camp Huaco Springs is on the river while Hill Country is just South of town with easy access to I-35 and other points in the area. Check out their reviews at www.campgroundreviews.com.

We were in the San Antonio area in January and road thru Potters Creek Campground on Canyon Lake. It is just north of New Braunfels and we definitely loved the campground. We do plan to stay there on our next trip to visit our son. The campground is very large, with many of the sites on the lake. The sites are large and well spaced out. About half of the sites are shaded. Deer are everywhere too.
