camping membership

The wife and I received a free one year TT membership when we bought our ST26RB trailer, and though we didn't use it as much as we had liked considering we had many other camping plans already scheduled, the places we did use it we really liked... so much so we renewed at an RV show. $425/yr with a 4 year commitment plus we picked up a free 2nd zone so we get the whole west coast.

At only $35/ month the membership will easily pay for itself.

We have had many friends join TT and used them. I checked into campground when I lived in southern California to find many of them in need of repair or outdated. I am sure there are lots of them in great shape. So I guess the bottom line is if you use them it is a good deal if not you are paying for something you do not use.

TT was taken over by a new company a few years ago. They have started to redo their parks: new pools, showers etc. I bought into the full membership and get 90 days camping a year and every night over that is $3.

I don't know when it was bought out, but if you Google it, you can find multiple blogs/forums that have very negative comments on fairly recent experiences...
