Just got back last week from a trip to the Cedar point campground in Sandusky Ohio and had a great time.

Thecampground is great, we had reservations for the cul-d-sac that is over by the pool site 255 was our site number. Here is a link to their campground map http://www.cedarpoint.com/_upload/pd...illage_map.pdf

The sites are all cement pads with shrubs on the patio to block you from the camper next to you, and a picnic table big giant steel one. It had pretty good room too. I did have to back up onto a 2X6 to get side to side level as I put my trailer right at the edge of the cement pad. It has full hook up there also with 30 and 50 amp service, and cable. We bought the 3 day ride and slide passes for Cedar point and Soak City, and stayed from Monday till Friday in the campground. The cost wasjust under$600.00 (that included the tickets for 3 people too)kind of steep but well worth staying that close to the park. You get to go into the park and hour before anyone else does because of staying in the campground.

If you go and stay in that area you can drive over to the Soak City parking lot and park. You dont have to walk over from the campground. It has the entrance to Cedar point and soak city as well as Challenge park too right there from that parking lot.

We just came back from Cedar Point also. The camper village was great. We had a ton of fun. We did the same thing 3 days wil ride and slide passes. Very nice and clean campgrounds. Yes there was noise from the park, but I would think you would expect that (we did) before you go. The coasters stop at 10ish so it was not bad. I suppose if your not into ammusement parks it would not be for you, but if you ever wanted to go to Cedar Point its the way to go.

Wow, this Cedar point place is amazing. I guess that's a great and positive thing! A few months ago, there were only a few resources that I had that really helped with looking into different possible locations for camping. I hope this helps as it really did help mea lot!

That is really not that out of line . It breaks down to 150.00 a day 3 of those days you get use of the parks. Not sure of the price of Soak City, but CedarPoint tickets the last I remember were about 42.00 / person/day.
