Thinking about making a trip this summer. Any suggestions on wooded campsites?
Anything in the Pikes Peak area?

Not too sure around PP area, but just off of Hwy. 115 is Mountaindale Cabins & RV Resort. They say PP is just a short drive, so this might work for you. www.mountaindalecampground.com. We spent a week there and really enjoyed it.

Stayed at Cheyenne Mountain State Park last summer and it was really nice. Not a lot of trees, but nice views andgreat rv spaces. Not to far from Pikes Peak.

I just make reservations today at Pikes Peak RV Park in Manitou Springs. Looks like a pretty park, with a stream flowing through.

Thanks for the feedback. The girls changed my plans to Yogi Bear in Cherokee NC.
I will lobby for Colorado next year. Band man let me know how your stay works out.

Our kids which are 4 and 6 love Yogi. I was just looking at that Yogi in NC it looks like a pretty nice campground. Might have to put that one on our list.
