Florida over the Christmas/New Year's Holiday

Hi All. We are planning on heading to the panhandle part of FL over the winter break this year. This is our first year camping and our first trip down south. Really want to go to the Naval Aviation museum in Pensacola.

We have found the hardest part about camping so far is picking a place to stay. It's worse than finding a hotel!!

We do want full hookups for this trip and would like to try something a little more upscale then KOA, Good Sam, or Thousand Trails.

These are the three places we have narrowed it down to:

Carrabelle Beach RV Resort - Carrabelle Beach RV Resort in Florida - RVC Outdoor Destination - 850-697-2638

Emerald Coast RV Resort - Emerald Coast RV Beach Resort - 800-232-2478

Coastline RV Resort - Luxury RV Resort Eastpoint Florida - Coastline RV Resort - 850-799 - 1016

There were a couple of other nice ones, but they were limited to Class A motor homes.

Has anybody stayed at one of these three sites and do you have any input on them?

Does anyone have any other sites they would recommend? We would be up for heading a little further south if we found the right place, but want to be on the water.

Really appreciate the help and make it a great Fall season!

Scott

I think you will discover there is no availability. The resorts you listed are popular Snowbird parks. You may find a spot in the state parks but they are definitely not upscale.
Contact the resorts you may get lucky.
