I am leaving for the Cabot Trail this Sunday (11 August). Do you have any other recommendations?

After six months of fixing everything wrong with my Rushmore. I'm headed to Ocean Shores, WA. for a week. Relaxing in my Coleman Tent. Won't be anything it fix in a tent but dinner & drinks.

We have done the cabot trail once. Unless camping at one of the few parks along there, leave your camper behind. We stayed at the Sydney KOA. Also, give yourself a FULL day. You will want to stop at many places for sight seeing. We only had 6hrs because we had made some dinner plans in Baddeck--which is a nice place for watching some boats coming in and out. Our trip was rushed and missed alot of stuff along the way.
There is a nice restaurant on Boularderie Island called 'Cedar House'. 2 minutes from KOA and near one of the entrance points to cabot trail.

Headed for local State Park long weekend with the grandchildren. Will include a Narragansett Tribal Pow Wow in Rhode island.
