We are planning a trip to the Moab area of Utah the last of October and first of November. We have never visited this area before and would love input regarding weather that time of year and campground suggestions.

Thank you!

Definitely cooler than the week we spent there in August this year.

We stayed at Portal RV (resort side) and it was definitely off season. Campground about 1/3 full. Nice concrete pads and nice showers and pool. You only get access to pool side if you stay in that area. The other side is gravel pads but still quite good. Lots of long sites.

Search "Moab" in campground recommendations section and you will get more info and reviews.

Weather is unpredictable. Could be 90s, could be snow. Seriously, the weather in Moab is incredibly dynamic. Around the 60s would probably be average though. Better to visit in October than July! I`ll be spending 4 nights at the Portal myself next month. What are you planning on doing while you`re in Moab?
