Morrow Mountain State Park Info

Does anyone have any information on Morrow Mountain State Park in North Carolina? Easy grades to get to it? We would be coming from Florida with our 3/4 ton truck pulling our 5ver coming up I-95 to US 52 west. Thanks!!

I think it might be pretty primitive. One thing to be aware of with NC state parks is they close and lock the gates at dusk. You will be stuck on whichever side of the gate you are on. They will not let you back in but will let you out if it us an emergency.

Really no big grades, I live about 45 min from there. No mountains anywhere near here, only foothills. I have only camped there as a kid and that was primitive tent camping. You may want to check out Cane Creek Park in Waxhaw NC. We just got back, loved it.
