The website says 15 min to downtown. We will do this next time. Much roomier and definitely more scenic. Plus all the outdoor stuff we like to do. The KOA seemed like it was also 30 min to everything no matter what we did.

I would like to add that Nashville Shores is located on a lake...It has a Zipp Line and a water park on the property...Something to consider if you have young kids...

You are correct... it probably has changed !
I'll bet it's gotten worse

But if you find better accommodations at better locals for cheaper why not ? There is a reason some say KOA stands for Keep On Adding (charges).
