Yellowstone

Hello, we are heading to Yellowstone from Missouri in a couple weeks.
My hubs is worried about the pull on hwy 14 from Cody to Fishing bridge RV park.
We're pulling a 30'cruiser fifth wheel/w diesel truck.
Is hwy 14 a shouldered hwy? Steep? Curvy?
Appreciate any heads up you can give us!
Thanks!

The road is in good shape, no steep grades or real sharp curves. Width is good too. The campground is a little tight, but when we went through we did see some pretty good size trailers in some spaces. Beautiful country!

Be advised, there is road construction around Fishing Bridge. We went through last month going from Idaho to Cody and back. You shouldn't have any problems as we went through it with our 229 Zinger TT. There were larger RVs than ours going both ways as well as 18 wheelers that were part of the construction crew. All entrances to the businesses and facilities at Fishing Bridge were open and looked to be accessible.

Thanks, We're only able to stay until Sept 5th. Fishing Bridge is closing for road construction that day.

Just a hour or so North. Is Ennis Mt. Nice RV park there. Ennis RV resort. Just if you were looking for somewhere else to stay.

As the others mentioned, the road should not be an issue. You will be fine.

I'm jealous of your travels. We just drove that route last month. I wish we were headed back that way! You all are going to have a wonderful time. We saw a grizzly bear about 100 yards off the road just inside the east entrance of Yellowstone.

If you are hungry in Cody we ate some unusually tasty BBQ at a food truck. It was sort of on the slower side of town so we found a set of parking spaces to park easily. Check out the reviews:
