As you can see from my website we have traveled and visited the West States and Canada .
We are taking is slow trying to explore the place as much as possible before moving to another location.
We love nature, hiking, scenic drives and meeting people and therefore prefer to visit each summer( for 4-5 months) new States/Provinces.
Our next summer trip starting in June till late October will be in Maine,NH and Massachusetts , it will be our first visit to these States so if anyone can suggest routes, hikes,C.G or any other relevant information it will be gratefully excepted.
Thank you.

Hi -

I think you'll find plenty of places to visit in the New England area. I live in souther Maine and vacation in the White Mountains area of NH. I must say between here and there you'll find thousands of miles to hike, bike, paddle, ride and swim.

I will suggest some must see's:

Maine's coast is awesome. I have lived here all my life and never seen all of it. Try visiting Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park, Lakes Region around Sebago Lake - one of the deepest with land locked salmon.

New Hampshire has the White Mountains area. The Presidential Range is a great place to see water falls, river's, hike, bike and swim. My favorite area is the North Conway/RT 16 area near Mt. Washington which is over 6,000' tall. You can drive to the summit via the auto-road, it's a thrill to drive a incline up a mountain over 6,000' in height. Once you reach the top you will find the location of the worst weather in the world with the highest ever recorded wind speed on earth.

There is much more, Vermont is a great place to visit, too. I love the New York side of Vermont with Lake Champlain and the many, many great places to see.

Dan, In Maine, a must is Fort Knox [the original] and Penobscot Narrows bridge and observation tower.

To find it , google /gps ....711 Fort Knox Rd., Prospect Maine 04981.
