Aerial WWII bomb washed up.

Spending the month at Cape Hatteras NC. So, a WWII live aerial bomb washed up on the beach yesterday. The Navy bomb squad out of Virginia arrived and buried it deep in the sand and detonated it today. https://fb.watch/1iZwnZmc2U/

You would be amazed at what can float up from the seabed. I was a missile tech in the Navy years ago. A US Navy ship shot a dummy missile 200 miles off the coast and it wasn't recovered because it was a dummy. 8 months later it showed up on a beach. this thing weighs in at 8000lbs never did figure out how that happened.
