My wife and I are thinking about going to the Bad Lands area in the beginning of October. I/we have never been there and were wondering about the weather at this time and any recommendations about where to stay that would be centrally located to see the sights. I know there is a lot to see in that area. We will be coming from Michigan so it is not really that far for us to travel. Was thinking about staying for about 2 weeks.
Thanks for any input.
HI,
We have stayed at the KOA Badlands, which is on the south end of the Badlands. Nice place, but not central. Also stayed at the Sleepy Hollow Campground in Wall.
