road construction Fort Worth,Tx

Will be travelling thru Fort Worth,Tx on I35w around the 30th of Dec.
does anyone have any info of closures ,delays or detours due to construction during that time?

you have to stop to say HI as you are coming within a mile of my home

The area around I-35W and 820 has been under construction for decades...

but unless it's rush hour(S) it flows pretty well if you know which lanes to get in...

right about downtown it goes down to the two left lanes only, so you would want to move to one of those as you are crossing the trinity river

There is an app for that.. (sort of)


Take a look at, the mobile friendly application contains a map of the road conditions (weather related, construction,etc) that is kept up to-date by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).

You can also contact any of the TxDOT Travel Information centers (the same website has the main number) and they can give you details of the road conditions along your route.
