We are traveling to the Factory Rally in Topeka, IN next month. We plan on leaving in mid-June in order to
have plenty of time along the road.

We are traveling west on I 64 through Charleston, WV, and through Ohio
and on to Indiana.</span></span>

Does anyone have any suggestions for places to stay along the way in
Charleston, WV?</span> </span>Any sites we need to
see?</span>

We are curious about state parks and sites in Ohio.</span> </span>Any suggestions for places that we should not
miss along the way would be greatly appreciated.</span> </span>If anyone knows of alternate routes
through Ohio that would provide more interesting towns, etc., please let us
know.</span>

We would appreciate any road information or suggestions.</span> </span>We are concerned as this is our first outing
with the Zinger so anything about road conditions or grades in the mountains
would be very helpful to us. </span></span>We have
scheduled 6-7 weeks for this trip.</span> </span>We
are not opposed to dry camping as needed but would be appreciative of nice
campgrounds that are not too costly or state parks.</span>

Anyone else traveling from the
East Coast please give us a shout out.</span></span>

I am sort of traveling from the east coast LOL. I'm in MA right now heading to ME. From there to Quebec and then on to Montreal for 10 days. From there to 1,000 Islands in Western NY and then on to Niagara Falls...then on to the Rally. If you'd like I could look at your route and give you some ideas in a PM. I have the Mountain Guides and can give you some ideas of the highest points you'll hit and ways to avoid them. Also, if you join CW you can find campgrounds (all CG's not just CW) along the way and actually map the trip out online. If you need some help with that let me know and I'll give you the skinny. Look forward to meeting you at the rally this year.

Travel Well,
Jim

Thanks for the reply, Jim. </span>
We will be travelling west on I 64 through Charleston, WV. And then on to Ohio but unsure where to stay or to visit. Do you have any grade info. for the Appalachians? Did you find those guides worth the price? We will be travelling out west in the Rockies next year?</span>

we have been to the factory rally a few years ago . very nice time. we came from Pa. we needed to stop overnite somewhere . we were traveling on the Ohio Turnpike . the land is flat .should have no trouble with your rig . along the turnpike system , various service centers have places for RV's

you get electric and a place to dump if need be . you also can go inside for a shower or if you have your own water with you you are good to go . the cost was $20.00 which we didn't mind paying as it was very hot the Ac felt good . google the ohio turnpike system . it gives you the various service centers with the facilities .. enjoy your trip and be prepared for some good food to eat at the rally

I believe the Ohio RV rest stops are limited to 30 Ft not familiar with your rig so you may want to check on that. Have a great and safe trip

Go Well
